Footer credits

The theme creator wants you to purchase theme ‘Pro’ theme to remove the footer credit.

Could you create a Child Theme first: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes

Then copy the theme’s “header.php” file and paste it into your Child Theme directory?
Edit the “header.php” file that’s now in your Child Theme directory and replace all of its code with the code from this PasteBin page: https://pastebin.com/wru1mnn4

Does that work?

@jmeyer2485, Yes but the theme author has to understand that this theme is distributed under the GPL license – therefore the author cannot restrict any editing of the theme.

@andrew I agree 100% and I think the theme creator was pretty good at hiding the code ??
