    Hi there,

Whenever I print packing slip or tax invoice, the footer goes on the next page regardless if i only have one line or few lines on the footer. This happen recently not quite sure if since updating the plugin. Hoping someone could guide me here what to check.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @nicetig,

Are you maybe using a custom PDF template? You can check this in WooCommerce?> PDF?Invoices?> General?> Choose a template.

I just checked the packing slip myself, with our default “Simple” template, and a single page is generated displaying the footer correctly at the bottom, even when I have 10 different items in the order.

    Hi @yordansoares,

Thank you for your prompt reply and suggestion.

I have only one and using the default “Simple” template. The preview looks fine but when i actually try to print the PDF to a printer or save it to a PDF, the footer always goes on to another page.

Any other suggestion? How do i reset all settings to default?

Could you please send me the HTML output source of a testing invoice or packing slip with this issue to try to understand what is happening?

To do it, just add &output=html at the end of your invoice/packing slip URL, then Right-click > Save as…, and save it as HTML. You can use https://www.file.io/ to upload the file and share the file URL here (this service deletes the file after downloading, so please don’t test the download link!).

Uploaded a sample packing slip and a screenshot of the preview at https://file.io/cj6FoiZ2oWGl. If you try to save it to a PDF or print it, the footer always goes on next page but preview looks perfect.

    Appreciate your help.

    Hi @nicetig,

It seems that another contributor downloaded the file, therefore, it is no longer available (as I mentioned before, the file is deleted as soon as it is downloaded).

Could you please upload it again? I’m following this conversation, so will receive a notification as soon as you post a new reply with the link: I hope this time I will be faster!

    Hi @nicetig,

I just tested the HTML output in a staging site, and the PDF was displayed correctly, in a single page, as expected.

I wonder if this might be an issue related with the plugin fonts.

Could you please go to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Advanced > Tools?tab, and click on the?Reinstall plugin fonts button? Then, try to open an existing invoice and check if it looks fine.

Let me whether it worked or you need more help!

    Hi @yordansoares,

Try reinstall plugin fonts and it didn’t work. However, i was going through the settings again and managed to get it fixed by not selecting the option “Output to HTML” under the Advanced > Settings tab. Once i unchecked this, footer stays on

Thank you so much for your help in looking this for me. Much appreciated.

Good catch, @nicetig! I’m very glad to hear that now it is working correctly! ??

By the way, if you don’t mind and have the time, do you think you could leave us a review?

Thanks in advance and all the best with your store!
