• Hi there,

I love using WPTouch. I just have one problem:
WPTouch uses a very old version of the footer including its links.

    Example:

    WPTouch: (c) 2005 – Link 1 – Link 2
    Normal WordPress site: (c) 2018 – Link 1 – Link 2

How can I refresh the footer?

    Thanks and best,
    David

    Hi,

Your footer content is likely set in Appearance > Customize > Footer. Look for it there. Let us know if the footer content is not there and share the URL of the site in question and we’ll gladly take a closer look.

    Hi Emilio,

I can’t find the Footer setting. When I enter the customizer section, it just selects the current theme – where I can’t configure it manually. No possiblity to switch to WPtouch. How can I change the footer for WPtouch?

    Thanks and best,
    David

Emilio, Thanks for the great support but please lose the signature. That’s prohibited in these forums as it’s been horribly abused in the past by others.

Yes, bad people ruin it for others. Please refrain from that.

    David,

In the Customizer, you should see a button that says “Switch to Mobile Theme”. Click on it to preview the mobile theme. You should see its settings there.

However, if you’re running an older version of WPtouch (ver. 3.x) you won’t find any WPtouch settings in the Customizer. Instead, you’ll find the Footer field in the WPtouch admin panel which you can access by clicking on the “WPtouch” link in the left sidebar menu in your WordPress Dashboard.

    Thanks, that solved the problem!
