In WP admin, I created a Footer Menu but only the Nav Menu displays in Menus > Manage Locations. The Nav Menu links also displays on the site but I hid them using theme’s options.

The message is: Your theme supports 1 menu. Select which menu you would like to use.

I want to use the Footer Menu cause of legalities.

Could you help me fix this?

  • At this time, there isn’t a footer menu option, but there is a feature in the Customizer to allow you to add any text you want into the footer.

I would like to put HTML into that footer text (e.g. a link to the Creative Common license), but the HTML is not interpreted – it comes out just as I typed it in. Is there a way I can fix this?

Edit-Never mind: comes out fine once I’m out of preview mode.

    Oh. Good to hear!
