Footer no longer visible under Appearance->Customize

    Dear all,

    I would like to change my footer from 2 columns to 3. But under ‘Appearance’ -> ‘Customize’, the option ‘Footer’ is no longer visible (as well as the option for header). Do you know why this happened?

    PS: Yesterday I deleted some plugins that I thought are not used. Maybe this caused the problem? Just a vague assumption…
