Footer not across page- sidebar jumping up

  • I had offered up a previous question to this, but now I think the issue is more pinpointed.

    I am looking to get my sidebar nicely beside my blog postings, both on this page and the subsequent blog posting pages.

    I think someone is of of whack with a closing div?
    I realize I have some markup errors – but none of which that I can tell should reflect this particular issue. Please if you see something in particular share with me in lamens terms, my mind is a mess just now.

  • Inside your sidebar you have a div with class of “content”. Class “content” has a width set to 600px.

    Thank you very much! That surely fixed part of the problem. It now has it’s own class and is set to 200px, but is still jumping way out?

    I’ve tried placing it all over my index.php, before columns, after .. and nothing has worked.. so far…
