Footer Section Removed When Plugin is Enabled

  • Hi,

    I have had this issue on both sites I have installed the page builder now when enabled the footer section and widgets are removed on every page, posts products etc. When I disable the plugin the footer area comes back. Is there any way to fix this please?

  • I have the same issue. Have you figured it out what caused it? The footer is gone on my website and I cant add a new one, it wont load and is giving me error all the time. Also all my menu entries are gone too. I have disabled almost all plugins but the problem remains. Would be nice if somebody would reply to you.

    Hi Lara,

    In the two sites I had the issue with I discovered the normal footer widgets had been removed on the home page or shop templates which is not great functionality by the theme developers so it’s wasn’t the plugin causing this.

    Your issues sound different as I had no errors. Does it do the same with a different theme? The SiteOrigin support is good is you want to contact them via their website.

    I purchased Nem theme from ThimPress months ago and everything was fine. The website worked smoothly, but a couple of weeks ago my client contacted me about menu pages, no menu items were listed anymore, just titles. I have contacted the theme developers, but I’m also trying to figure out myself what the problem is. It seems that the SiteOrigin plugin that came with the theme is causing the problem because I have tried to disable all none SiteOrigin plugins and it didn’t make a a difference, but I have disabled SiteOrigin plugin and some missing features came back, though the site looked like a mess. Could be a problem with a theme as well. At least you know what caused the problem on your website. Thank you.

    Usually if a plugin is bundled with a theme it’s the theme developer that needs to fix the issue so I’d get in touch with them in the first instance.
