Footer social menu

  • Hi,
    I am having problems putting social icons into the social footer. everytime I follow the instructions it wipes out my main menu at the top and replaces it with ‘facebook’ which is the social icon I am trying to put in the footer. For now I have installed a plugin for the footer, but would ideally like the icons in the right place as I think it looks better.

    The menu coding needs some updating, but here is what you can do to check things…

    1. make sure your main menu for the site only has the Primary Menu location selected.

    2. make sure your social menu only has the Social Footer Menu location selected
