Footer suddenly disappeared

  • Hello after importing Botiga theme my footer suddenly disappeared, I have the options to edit it but I can’t see it anywhere on the site.

    I am sorry to hear about yout trouble.

    Seems likely it requires further investigations with the theme’s code. But, I need more information as per your case. Did you setup your footer widgets with other theme before?

    Yes i did, but i also restored a previous backup

    Hi @hyrkan97,

    Each widget area comes with unique ID for the theme’s design purpose. The active widgets added to widgets areas, that have different IDs in other theme, won’t be appearing as the IDs change.

    For that reason, you’ll need to redo the widgets setup manually from widgets administration panel (Appearance menu > Widgets).

    I can confirm that it is not an issue for specific theme’s design purpose.
