Footer to bottom of page

I can’t get the footer to the bottom of my page.

When I position the footer absolute, the footer is on the bottom of the screen. But than it overlaps the content of the blog-container if this is longer than the screen height.

When I position the footer relative, the footer stays underneath the content of the blog-container. But the footer is moving up when the content is less than the screen height.

I would love to have my footer always on the bottom of my content and not higher than the bottom of the screen. I tried using this workaround: https://ryanfait.com/resources/footer-stick-to-bottom-of-page/ but it didn’t work.

Can someone please help me?
