footer vs post footer

  • I’ve been having a bear of s time styling the footer, when I get the main footer right, the post footer is wrong and vice versa. I have tried adding id’s, css selectors, etc, but they still want to follow the same rules.
    This is in Boilerplate. Is it the theme, or a wider problem?
    Any suggestions? It seems that it should be solvable, but I have tried and tried. A compromise is the best I get.

  • without further details of your styling attempts, like the used styles in connection with a link to the problem site, there is not much to discuss.

    generally, it should be possible to add enough css classes to allow selective styling of various footer sections.

    I just now was able to separate them in the style sheet, article footer did the trick this time.
