footer widgets duplicated in MEC Single Sidebar

    i have 2 widgets in my main widget area, which in my theme (child of 2013) appears in the page footer.

    unfortunately, mec duplicates those in the MEC Single Sidebar:

    and the font sizes are too small, and the zeno font resizer has no effect on them:-\

    ah, nevermind, while trying to figure out wh organizer/location/etc were missing from the add new event page, i figured out that the mec sidebar defaults to time & date as well as duplicating the theme’s main widgets; adding the mec single sidebar items to the mec single sidebar (a new addition to the department of redundancy department, alongside vin number, pin number and atm machine;-) gives the full list of items (with the defaults unselected, brilliant!-)

    and now the duplicated widgets are gone! thanx:-)
