• I’ve chosen the 3 column footer design in the free version of Virtue. I have widgets that I’d like to place in each separate column, but when I check the site all the widgets are stacked on top of one another in one big long column.

The site is running on a virtual host/local server so I cannot link to it.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hello,

Are you placing the widgets into separate columns in Appearance> Widgets?

Can you share a screenshot of how your footer is displaying?

    You can host images here:

    Hi Kevin,
Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes, the widgets are each in the individual footer column sections. It seems like the third footer is okay, being to the right of the second, but I can’t figure out why the second one loads under the first instead of beside it.

WordPress is pretty new to me, so use kindergarten language. ??
    Thanks!

I’m not sure what may be causing this. Without being able to view on your site it’s hard to say.

Can you share a screenshot of the widgets in your footer columns in Appearance> Widgets so that I can replicate on my site?
