• thanks in advance to anyone who reads this.

i am only just learning how to tweak templates to change simple things, and i screw up a lot. i am not sure what i’ve done to my dear arthemia premium theme, as the width of the footer box now overextends the area that it should. i’ve been digging around for hours and can’t figure out what’s wrong.

here’s the site in case anyone might have an idea and a moment to reply.
    thanks very much.

  • Your pages are missing a closing </div>. My guess is that it should be just before the footer. If you add it back in, it may fix the problem.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

You mean add a </div>in footer.php? I’ve tried that but I guess I’m not putting it in the right place? Or am I in the wrong file?

It’s hard to tell by looking at the output source which is the best file to edit. All I can say is that I think there should be a closing </div> just before <div class="clearfloat" id="front-popular">. Since the problem is on every page, footer.php would be the first place I’d look.
