Footer width on page.php and template php's
-
Hi guys,
I am working on a new theme called “simple beautiful” on my localhost. I’m using the 960 grid. I have a full browser width nav bar that goes over the top of the header and I have the footer that is also full browser width. They are both separate from my grid “.container_12” and work great on the homepage. However, on any other page using the page.php or any other template file, the footer seems to get trapped and contained in the grid. I have tried everything I know to clear it, separate it and contain it outside the grid but it just keeps falling into it. At any rate, I have checked to be sure that my divs are crossing template files properly, I have worked the issue with firebug to death and even tried a few tricks I know but for whatever reason, my footer still gets contained in the grid on every page other than the homepage. I was hoping that someone may have a bit better perspective or has come across this issue in the past and might know where I can start to get this behavior under control. For length of post sake, i will post my css and my html/php in a separate post. Hopefully this can be resolved without re-writing half of my files, lol. ok, so next post, the code :-).
