  • Hello @rebornishard

    It’s not a strange behaviour. When you translate, all languages are stored in the same place, separated by special marks.

    We do not remove this information on uninstall, because we are not sure if you want to re-install it later or you remove the plugin forever.

    However, we have plans to have this “clean-up” functionality in the future versions of the plugin.

    Thank you for your question!

    thanks to reply, yes it need “clean-up” sometimes need to turn it off to checking other plugin problem.

    Well, the clean-up cannot be temporary. It will remove all translations keeping only one language. No way to come back. I hope that WPGlobus users will never need this destructive action. ??

    I installed WPGlobus because our company was going to do our site in multi language, then they decided not to at this time, so right now I am using one language on the site and my menus on my phone show the {:en}Home{:}

    I would like to clean it. Can there be a cleaning tool and later if we do decide to go Multi Language then we can re-install WPGlobus?

    Or tell me how to remove those without reinstalling wordpress and losing everything? One way or another it has to not display to our customers.

    Thanks

    So, just to make sure: you kept the WPGlobus running, and left only one active language? Or you deactivated WPGlobus?

    I tried it many ways, turned on, turned off, deleted it, reinstalled it etc.. But I just basically copied all the html code from each page it was showing on the menu and created new pages with the html code and deleted the original that WPGlobus modified and now my site is normal. it just took me a minute or weeks to sit down and actually think about how I wanted to proceed ??

    Thanks, The program is really really cool, I will not install it again unless you have a feature to remove the entire program and the language files. If you add a cleaner I would be more than happy to pay for the program for sure.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Tom
