For nobody chiming in on issues
-
I have run into that a lot and then resort to Googling or forums. Sometimes i have ditched a theme all together for the lack of any developer support as that kind of speaks a bit about the quality of product. A lot of these themes are free and I essentially take that as-is and go into it with the knowledge that I might be pretty much on my own with regard to any issues that come up.
However, that being said, it is nice when the WordPress community as a whole can get together and chime in from time to time to try and help resolve issues. I like to try because Im constantly trying to learn CSS, PHP, WordPress. Im a troller and troll a mess of forums at times looking for answers and also spend a lot of time trolling the WordPress Codex. Answers wont magically come to me otherwise.
I in no way consider myself a developer but a coder, a tweaker, as I can get into something and modify to my needs, add stuff and otherwise learn coding behavior within WordPress.
I have sort of settled on this denaani child theme given its flexibility and if there’s something I know I sure wont mind passing it on. Knowledge is power so to say but collaboration can also breed knowledge and success.
