For some reason the file name is used for title

This is a new development. I’ve added 3 new images to a gallery and the Titles are blank in the gallery but when the gallery is displayed on a page the filenames are used as titles. I’m hoping this is a temporary glitch and it will work itself out. The titles for the images added before this remain empty so whatever the issue it only affects the new additions. Any suggestions???
