All the users on my site have the same role, almost all of them I can go into their User page from the admin and there is the WP 2FA Settings section with an option to reset but there are some users that don’t have that section. They all have the same role, they are not being excluded in the general settings.

Any way to get those settings to load for all users?

Just to add to this, it appears it is for users that did not setup their 2fa and are locked. There is no unlock/reset option under the accounts, no 2FA section at all? I disabled other plugins but that did not help.

If I cannot fix this is there a way to unlock users manually from the MySQL database usermeta table?

    Hello @werksadmin

Thank you for using our plugin. From what I can understand, this is what happened:

    1) You have enforced 2FA on these users with the same role

    2) Some users have configured 2FA, hence why there is the “Reset 2FA configuration” button in their profile.

    3) Some users did not configure 2FA, and that is why there is no Reset 2FA button, since there is nothing configured to reset.

    4) Since you have enforced the policies, users who did not configure 2FA within the grace period, they got locked.

Now you need to unlock these users. Please read our guide How to unlock locked WordPress users (2FA) on more information how you do this.

I hope the above helps. Should you need any further information or assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Have a great weekend.
