For some vendors I want ONLY “Local Pickup” option on Checkout

On my multi-vendor site with WCFM, I have few vendors which would never ship the orders. They would always want customers to pick-up the order from their store.

So, I went to Edit Vendor >> Store Shipping option from my store-manager login and then unchecked the option “Enable Shipping” in anticipation that whenever that vendor’s products are added to cart, a check out page would show “Local Pickup” option instead of showing the Free shipping method.

But that doesn’t seem to work. In spite of unchecking “Enable Shipping”, on checkout page buyers still see Free Shipping method and not the “Local Pickup” option.

And if I select (check) the option “Enable Shipping” as well as “Enable Local Pickup” options (https://prnt.sc/Vr6WmPx93rLy ), then on the checkout page I see both the options i.e. Free Shipping as well as Lock Pickup; and buyer can select any one of these methods (https://prnt.sc/PnovQbRjvC6x ).

I don’t want user to select the option between Free Shipping and Local Pickup because some vendors just cannot ship the order as they have only pickup option with them.

So, how can I make this happen for some vendors? If buyer is purchasing the products of those vendors then on checkout there should be ONLY and ONLY one option i.e. “Local Pickup”. How to do that?
