Forbid EU VAT checkout not working

    can you send a screenshot of your woocommerce setting page so we can reproduce your configuration ?

    Send it to [email protected] and pay attention to the object of the mail, please set it as “YITH WooCommerce EU VAT – support from www.ads-software.com” and add a link to this page on the email body.

    Hi Briana,
    we made some test and the plugin works as expected.
    Please pay attention to some requirements needed in order to be able to limit EU customers from being able to place orders :
    1) The product have to be marked as “virtual”.
    2) On WooCommerce tax tab, “Enable taxes and tax calculations” should be checked.

    Can you please verify if your settings are as requested ?

    Virtual products aren’t affected by the EU VAT, it’s downloadable items. This is probably why it’s not functioning for me. How do I get it to work on downloadable items, which is where it needs to work?

    you can change the code searching for is_virtual() and replacing that with is_downloadable().
