*Forbidden* Error

  • Hi,

    I keep getting the error message below when i try to update a theme or plugin.How do I resolve it? Thanks.

    Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/update.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Have you discussed this permission issue with your hosting provider?

    No i haven’t. Is it possible they (host) restrict this access from me?
    And when the access is restored , would it prevent the forbidden page from coming up?
