• Hello,

I’m getting mad on this problem.

I have a linux server with plesk platform.

    I created the database
I gave 755 permissions to httpdocs folder
    I copied by ftp wordpress
I assigned 755 to all folders except wp-content/uploads I created that is 777
I assigned 644 to all files.

I installed wordpress by web, and the installation worked fine.

The problem is that when i get admin password after the installation, and i try to enter admin panel i get this error:

    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-login.php on this server.

if I try to get https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/

    it gives in addess bar:

    https://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mysite.com%2Fwp-admin%2F

and it gives same Forbidden error.

I tried setting plesk in apache module
    changed to safe php active
    Changed to cgi application

    removed domain an re-created again… re-created database

    reinstalled about 10 times wordpress

but the final result is always the same:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp-login.php on this server.

I specify that the site is in root folder an NOT in a separate folder like httpdocs/wordpress…

I contacted provider support and told me to post in wordpress forum as they think is not a server issue.

    please Help… getting mad.
