Force audio player to use Flash?

I need to play MP3s, and supposedly the current version of Firefox is supposed to be able to handle them, but I can’t hear anything on Firefox. Actually, the only browser that works seems to be Internet Explorer. I tried adding OGG, but that didn’t help. Is there some way to attempt to force WordPress to use the Flash player instead of HTML5 audio player? Can somebody suggest something that works? I really need to get this working.

I know WordPress uses mediaelement.js, but I even when I go to THEIR WEBSITE the audio players don’t work. What’s up?

Using firebug I can see the audio file is being buffered. The header is a 206 Partial Content header. The file completely loads, and no sound ??
