When having 6 photos in a gallery, is it possible, when the screen width drops, to force the amount of columns to be 6/3/2/1, thereby skipping 5 and 4, which do not look nice.

    Visually:
    XXXXXX (yes)

    XXXXX (no)
    X

    XXXX (no)
    XX

    XXX (yes)
    XXX

    XX (yes)
    XX
    XX

    X (yes)
    X
    X
    X
    X
    X

    Thanks.

    Hi @saturnusdj

It is possible to configure this using a bit of CSS and have the number of columns vary based on the screen size.

If you have a gallery page that you want to implement this on, you can share it with me and I’ll assist you with that.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

    Hello @elviiso

That is great to hear, thanks.

The website is marcuspasveer.com. The chosen theme might change.

    Hi @saturnusdj

I have gone to your site https://marcuspasveer.com/ but can’t find any galleries on the Home or About pages.

Could you kindly add the gallery that you’d like this to be implemented on to one of those pages and then share the URL link to that page before we can advise further? Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

    Hey @elviiso

When I open the exact link you posted above there are 3 Justified Galleries.

I do know of a strange problem that sometimes resources are blocked from loading because of security errors. Sometimes the ip instead of domain name pops up in the link to the CSS/JS file. Very strange. (Force HTTPS is enabled in FooGallery).

Anyways, I took some measure, can you please try again? If the measures are not sufficient I will disable caching.

Just heard the same as you described from someone else. Really should not be happening. Hope it works. Thanks.

    Hi @saturnusdj

I have been able to have a look at the three galleries on that page. Thanks for making that happen.

The first thing I noted is that the galleries on that page are all Justified galleries. The customization you requested cannot be done with the Justified gallery at this moment in time unfortunately because the layout for the Justified gallery template has all been done using Javascript so so there’s no easy workaround to try override it.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

Thanks for your effort. Bummer, which types of gallery do work? I will evaluate if switching is an option then.

    Hi @saturnusdj

You could try out the Responsive Image Gallery template or even the Masonry template which may work for you.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.
