    In the settings for this plugin, we have entered a different email address in the From Email Address from the one for the SMTP username. We also have the ‘Force From Email’ field checked.
    However, the from email address is still being used.

    In the test send email, the from address is the SMTP username, and the reply-to is the from email address. Is this how it is supposed to work? We would like only the From email to be used.

    Hi @lainyrache,

    Thanks for reaching out! Please kindly note that you can only send emails from your Easy WP SMTP authenticated email address.

    For example, if your SMTP Username is “[email protected]” which you have used to authenticate the plugin, you need to use the same email address “[email protected]” as your “From Email Address”.

    If you want to authenticate your domain “example.com” to send emails using multiple email addresses (e.g.,?[email protected]?or?[email protected]), you will need to configure a domain-based mailer such as SendLayer, Brevo, SMTP.com, etc.
