Force header image on front page

  • Hi,

    I would like to force the front page only to use the site header image as og:image. I have successfully managed to set a couple of other tags with use of a page ID or is_front_page(), but this is stubbornly refusing to work for the image.

    I have tried adding the header as the page’s featured image so it would pull that first, but as I don’t actually want it on the page I have this set as ‘Show featured image in the posts lists only, but hide it in the single post view.’ This, I guess, is also hiding it from view for og too.

    Any ideas?
