Force mobile version

Is there a way to control whether the PC or mobile version of the product designer is displayed on a Windows based device?

By mobile version, I mean the version displayed when you use the product designer on your mobile phone, with the slider for resizing.

For tablet devices, including Windows based tablets, I think the “mobile version” is better. I haven’t found any way to force this on (testing with Chrome on a Surface Pro 3).
