Force one currency checkout

    I wanted to know if I could show multiple currencies but only let customers checkout in my default shop base currency type? Basically, I want to show different currencies but force customers to checkout using one currency. Can this plugin support that?

    Unfortunately that’s not possible yet.

    For the record there is kind of a workaround: You can set the shop to revert back to the store’s default currency in the checkout.

    Obviously this is not ideal because then the customer all of a sudden sees a different price in a different currency right before they pay (and if it uses the same currency symbol then they’ll think the price just randomly changed), but until the plugin developers can work it out so that the currency is only converted to the default for processing, what I’ve done is add a note in the Checkout form that says “Prices have been automatically converted to USD for processing, using the latest available exchange rate.”

    At least then they know what’s going on, but again — far from ideal.
