force refesh not working on android mobile phone

    on my website kvdedrielinden.be the pages are auto refreshed with the force refresh plugin.
    This works perfectly on my laptop, but on mobile phones (android) the old page is not refreshed. i have the equivalent mobile redirect plugin activated. When i deactivate this plugin all seems working ok, but this is not an option for me .What can be the problem?

    Hey @marccuypers,

    I visited your site on an Android and was able to confirm that the plugin was working as expected. In this screenshot, you can see that the network requests are being made as expected.

    Do you mind listing the steps that you went through to request a refresh? Did you do a site-wide refresh, or did you do it for a specific page? Are you able to plug your Andoid phone into a computer in order to view the browser console? Is this all a single site or is this a multi-site?

    Hello Jordan,
    I took a closer look at the console. I see the refreshing is started but nothing changed. I then deactivated my cashing plugin (wp fastest cache) and now it is working fine.
    Thanks for your help. Without it i would never had the idea of looking at the browser console.
    Perhaps you have a well working alternative as caching plugin?

    Ah, Gotcha. So the endpoint that my plug-in hits is a non-cached portion of the API but if the plug-in you’re using is caching that endpoint by mistake, that’d cause the refresh to not work. However, if you found a different caching plugin that works, let me know!

    One way you’d be able to test this is by looking at the network request in your console and try to visit that URL in your browser. If you refresh the site and hit the api manually and notice that the site version in the return changes, then the caching plugin you’re working with is working properly. This approach is quicker than waiting for the browser to refresh (since site version is only checked, at a minimum, every thirty seconds).
