“Force SSL Exclusively” Does the Opposite
-
Hey guys,
I just wanted to leave feedback that the setting “Force SSL Exclusively” appears to be the exact opposite of what it says it is.
When I see, “Force SSL Exclusively”, that clearly means that it will make sure that every page of the site redirects to its SSL counterpart. But here’s your description on that same setting:
“Any page that is not secured via Force SSL or URL Filters will be redirected to HTTP.”
???
That is literally the opposite thing.
I almost guarantee that every single person facing a “too many redirects” issue is using this setting, thinking it’s what they need to make their whole site SSL.
I recommend you rename the setting “Use page settings for SSL” or something along those lines.
