• Social Snap was a useful plugin until one day, the developers added a huge, ugly branding message at the bottom of pages without permission. (They disguise this branding as a useful feature to copy the page and share it.) There was no setting we could find to disable it.

We’ll update this review when the developers remove this forced branding or make it opt-in instead of opt-out by using CSS.

    Hello,

Social Snap has that option in Settings ??Advanced ??Plugin Data ? Remove “Powered by Social Snap” link. It has been there since the initial v.1.0.0.

Let me know if you managed to find the option.

    Best,

This branding was suddenly turned on with all the sites I used with your plugin. The day I posted my review, it appeared at the bottom of all my pages. Was this a bug introduced with a recent update?

When I use a free plugin, I accept some of these issues. It would’ve been less of a problem if the branding had been well-styled, but it was large and poorly formatted. It looked like CSS had not been applied.
