Forced image size much smaller than container

Hi there,

Firstly, this plugin is outstandingly useful! Reduced my page load by 80% – thank you.

I am having an issue where the image size forced by the responsive feature is smaller than it’s container. Because it’s in a slider, I do not want to disable the lazyloader using ‘exclude class’, where almost all of it’s benefits are gained by lazy loading the next featured images.

So because of this, the image is displayed extremely blurry: 100px stretched out to 700px.

Things I tried
I can’t seem to exclude only the first slide (the first slide is defined by it’s “li” class, not a unique img class, and I have been unable to add one to the plugin file to only the first image).

So rather than excluding it, I am trying to figure out why it’s forcing the incorrect size, where it is working perfectly in other areas of the site, so that I can just let it run as it’s supposed to. Again, amazing results.
