Forced overwriting of .htacess file rules

    I installed the plugin and it overwrote rules from the wordpress .htacess file, deleted old rules and added rules about user agents. Was this expected to happen or was it a mistake? I needed to recover the rules I had already used from a backup, this was terrible.

    Sorry for the inconvenience ??

    Normally it should only add/change/remove rules between # BEGIN WP Captcha Firewall and # END WP Captcha Firewall

    We haven’t had any other reports of this so maybe something in your existing rules is confusing our search and replace. You can paste the contents of the old htaccess file if it doesn’t cotain any sensitive information and I’ll have a look.
