Forced to write review

  • I had to write a review in order to get a pop up message to disappear. I would love to actually use this plugin, but it won’t let me until I write a review.

    Hi @kirtikanani! It is alright to ask nicely if your users want to leave a review though I think that that can be abused too.

    It is completely unacceptable to coerce your plugin users to write a review before they can use your plugin.

    That makes it really difficult to determine if the reviews are legitimate or not. I mean, a forced review isn’t good or honest.

    So to be on the safe side I have deleted all of the 5 star reviews left here to make this a clean slate and this plugin has been reported and I’ll keep an eye on these reviews until the code is removed.

    I am sure that you will agree that an honest review from the heart will be more beneficial than “You can’t use my plugin until you leave a review.” ??
