• I’ve been using stream on multisite installs for a while now, specially to be able to track what editors/customers are doing. It’s organized and clean views are a good way of quickly getting to know what’s been going one in each site of the network.

however, since the last update I can’t install plugins as network admin, I keep getting the message that I must signup to stream premium to be able to install extensions.

I would understand such behaviour if we were talking about installing extensions to stream, but it blocks me from installing regular wordpress extensions in wordpress.

    Hopefully a bug.
Anyway, manually removed stream and all it’s db tables for now.

  • Hi apessoa,

This was an unfortunate bug that we discovered yesterday and immediately released a hotfix to fix it. Please delete the Stream plugin and install again and the problem will be fixed. You don’t have to uninstall Stream, just delete the plugin and install/activate again.

So sorry for the inconvenience, we would be happy to address any future concerns you may have with the plugin via the support forum before you leave a negative review so we have a chance to make things right.

After installing Stream again and seeing this issue resolved, would you consider changing the rating on this review? Thank you!

Hi apessoa, can you confirm that the latest Stream build fixes your issue?

    Hi @apessoa,

Just coming back around to check on the status of this again for you.

Are you still having this problem with the latest update?

    Thanks!

sorry guys, haven’t reinstalled it yet in the old servers (sticked to a “competitor” that has a much less appealing user interface, but it’s just plain working).

I’m setting up a new server with two multisite installs in a couple of weeks, promise I’ll give it a spin instead of the other and provide feedback here.

    best regards,
    Alex

Even though Frankie is incredibly kind about you leaving a 2-star rating just because you experience a bug, you really shouldn’t post negative reviews just because you’re experiencing a bug. That’s what the plugin support forums are for.

Stream is a free plugin and its authors work tirelessly to improve this great product. Leaving a negative review because you think stream is causing an issue is just very impolite and doesn’t reflect the work the authors put into this plugin.

I would urge you to change the rating or request removal of your review.

    Agree with Jesper,

    Alex, please reconsider your ratings.

Whilst directly you’re hurting a hard-working developer who’ve clearly done all they can to help you, indirectly you’re making yourself look petulant.
