Forcing line breaks in Gallery plugin for the thumbnails

Could you please be specific about the reason you want to create the breaks. It will be easier for us to answer the question.

If you look at the site, you will notice the thumbnails. He wants the images on a single line that go with one another, For instance, the Essence Magazine and its one-page akrtucle on the first line and then a line break. I can’t just specify 2 columns because for some articles, there is a cover and 2, 3, or 4 pages.

I thinl I could do this if I were allowed multiple galleries on the same page. Then, I would make a separate ,gallery for each magazine article. I created other galleries but, when editing the page and ask it to insert a gallery, I don’t get a choice of galleries…just the one I originally created. Thought maybe there was a way to get shortcode for each one but can’t find it.

Actually you can have multiple galleries in a single page. Just create an album and add different galleries to this album and insert the album shortcode. This should allow you getting the desired result. Thanks.

I have created an album and it tells me I can drag and drop calleries to the album. I have tried and the gallery never enters the album. It pops back to the gallery list???

Please disregard. I figured it out. I was sliding them to the right, rather than to the left. ??

How do I insert the album to a page? Is there shortcode?

When I am on the page, there is no Insert Album link.

The same shortcode system can be used with an album. Click on Photo Gallery camera icon, from the tabs select Album and insert the album choosing it. Thanks.

There is NO camera icon.
