When I updated today, I got stuck in maintenance mode. My update screen showed the “Down for Maintenance. Please check back in a few minutes.” which normally appears on the site.

Now, my site has this warning on the front and back ends:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/94/9852494/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 4527

    Any ideas?

I would gladly reupdate, but I cannot find just the update.

    Update:

I deactivated it to see if something was set wrong and got this error message:

The plugin generated 169 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

Having the very same problem, after the most recent update (yesterday):

    – received the following Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/…/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 4527

after deactivating and re-activating, I receive the same error (taking the site down) with the following notification: “The plugin generated 183 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

    Update:

Today’s update created a new error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/94/9852494/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 4534

The warning on activation remained the same:
The plugin generated 169 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

When attempting to approve comments, I got this:

I followed the instructions and removed JetPack. A fresh install gave the same line 4534 error.

I’m having the same error message. (Sorry for the %, tried googling, the following is cut and paste from URL.)

I deactivated. Will reinstall a lower version now and see what happens.

If you want to keep the current version, you can use this patch. It is in a few other threads.

    That worked. Thank you!

For me, it was the bbPress clash. Commenting out the line fixed it.
