• Good evening,

My mom has had a Montessori school for the past 40 years. With the help of a student’s father, he created a website for my mom. She was a single mom raising us and didn’t have much knowledge of the internet and technology all together.

Now, my mother is retired and I have taken over her business. The individual who helped create the website for my mother on WordPress, sadly passed away a couple of years ago.

The issue i am dealing with is trying to have access to our schools website, which he helped create for my mom. The information is outdated on the website now, and I have been trying to resolve this issue for a couple of months now and it is bad for business.

I can’t find any contact information to get assistance from WordPress or anywhere else.

Can someone please assist me or guide me in what I can do?

The beautiful website the parent created is:
    https://www.california-montessori.com

Please call me or email me at redacted if you are able to assist me.

Thank you for all of your time.

    GOod Evening John and WordPress,

We actually don’t know the username or email address that the childs father used. He passed away and was helping out muy mom.

I haven’t been able to access our website for 5 years now and the information is outdated.

I wish WordPress was able to send us a letter at our school to verify us as the owners of the business and help reset out information.

It effects our school business and I don’t know what to do.

    Thank you

Do you know who your host is? That would be the people you pay money to.

    [edit] Looks like dreamhost.

WordPress has nothing to do with the hosting of your site. Your site is hosted by Dreamhost. If you check with them, they should be able to help you get access to your site.

    Hi californiamontessori,

Sorry you have not log into your site. www.ads-software.com won’t be able to help because your site is hosted on DreamHost. If you click on the link, they should be able to help you.

WordPress is the program housed on DreamHost.com. They would be able to get into their computers and give you a ID and new password. Since the program is housed somewhere else, we cannot get into that file.

Sorry – but they will help.

    All the best,
    John
