    Hello,

I think, since the latetest update (perhaps also before) the Forgot-Password?-Link in the Widget is not translated any more. Please fix this bug.

    Thanks!

Hi, can you share a screen capture so I know which string you are referring too. Also what language are you trying to translate the forgot password-link into?

    Thank you

    Hello,

I’m using the german translation. A sreenshot can be found here. As you can also see, “Forgot Password” is already translated. But the translation is not shown.

Hi, can you install Loco Translate plugin. Then check to see if Forgot Password? can be translated into German. This is the quickest way for you to translate that string.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards

Is there also an other way? One plugin for one translation is not the best way (in my opinion). Perhaps I can solve this problem with Poedit, where I can change translations?

Yes, of course you can use Poedit. I sometimes recommend Loco Translate plugin because you can install it, translate the strings and then delete the plugin ??

You use which ever method works best for you.

    Kind regards

As you can also see in the demo screenshot, the string is translated. But it is not shown in the widget…

Loco Translate Plugin also not solves the problem. The translation is not used…

Hi, I just carried out a test in my Spanish dev site and that string is translated into Spanish. I am not sure what can be going wrong in your site.

    Did you follow these instructions?

Can you check the following. Do you see your language files in the following path?

    yoursite.com/wp-content/languages/plugins

Also do you see your language files in the following path?

    yoursite.com/wp-content/languages/plugins/simple-memebership/languages/

If you see your language files in both paths above, can you delete the po and mo files from one of the paths. Then carry out a test.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards

    I solved the problem:

    In “simple-membership-de_DE.po”
    I had the following lines:

    #: simple-membership/views/login.php:33
    msgid "Forgot Password"
    msgstr "Passwort vergessen"

    I changed it to:

    #: simple-membership/views/login.php:33
    msgid "Forgot Password?"
    msgstr "Passwort vergessen?"

    So, I added the “?”.

    Now it works…
