“forgotten password” email address

When you first register or when you say you have forgotten password, an email is sent to the member with the link to the page to reset the password. Firstly the email comes from [email protected] and secondly, in some emails , i think based on the email address, the url for the reset password page is “de-linked” so there is no clickable link. The member has to copy and paste the url into the browser.
firstly, can I change the email address where that email comes from? I would rather support @ domain-name . com or [email protected] How would I do that?
Secondly, do some email providers strip the link out of emails? how do we stop that happening?
