form data being collected by email not being sent

    My forms stopped sending email on 12/16. About that time some weird php files were found on my server and I deleted them because they were at the root. Data is getting dumped to the database just fine, but the form data is not getting to the destination email box. Could there be a php file missing or corrupt?

  • Hello dgibb, this could be the case, are you able to restore the files with a backup by chance – some host companies keep file backups. There could be a number of other reasons why the submissions have stopped, anything from something changing server side, or in WordPress. Have you consulted with your Host provider to ensure nothing has changed that could prevent submissions?
