Form did no longer sent E-Mail

    A customer asked me, why I didn’t respond to a request he had sent through my website and Everest Forms the other day. As I never had received an e-mail I startet to investigate.
    From the EverstForm logs it looked like a reCAPTCHA failure, but even after stopping this service, no e-mails arrived.

    Therefore I started a support request and I got very prompt help from the support engineers on the other side. I had to perform some tests and as a result, they pointed me to my hosting / e-mail service provider.

    They had made an important change for sending E-Mails with different sender address to reduce spam. In essence they do not allow the “from field” either empty or with another address than the host address.

    I installed WP SMTP in order to sent contact form e-mails with a “From Field ” including one of my domain adresses.

    Problem solved!
