form does not email

I am building a website and need to provide a form customers can fill out to transfer their information. When I tested the form, I filled it out and received the green box with “Your message was sent successfully.” However I never receive the email. What could I be doing wrong? The same email are being used for admin under settings, contact 7 mail field, and contact under the theme name.
