When someone enters a URL without a final forward slash “/”, and they hit send, the page just refreshes to the blank form.

    For example:

    If someone enters:
    https://domainname.com

In a text or URL field, as soon as they click on send the page just refreshes back to the blank form, and the information doesn’t get sent.

But if the URL has the final slash, ie: https://domainname.com/ , then everything works fine; the info gets sent and the user is redirected to the confirmation page.

If the URL is entered without the “https://” (ie: domainname.com) the form works well.

I couldn’t find if this has been dealt with already.

Any ideas for this strange case?

Possible mod_security rules? Check with your host.

    That was exactly it.
People at the host provider fixed it.

What was REAAAALLY weird is that the wouldn’t tell me what was the problem exactly. Like they weren’t allowed or something.
Could you think of any idea what’s that all about? (I have no clue what mod_security rules are, by the way)

    This problem is fixed.
Thanks a lot for your time and great support Matt!!!!

Sorry, I know very little about mod_security other than it can be configured to be a little too restrictive for web forms. The biggest culprit being URLs (which was the clue).

    Glad to be of help!
