We have a simple contact form (Forminator plugin) that is displaying that a form was emailed successfully yet it never arrives at the destination.

The test on this SMTP plugin works (we receive the test message).

Is there anything that needs to be done so that the form plugin sends thru the SMTP plugin.

We are using our Goggle gmail address to send the messages.

    Hi @sailpilot,

Thanks for reaching out! Did you configure the Gmail mailer or the Other SMTP mailer option?

If you have configured Other SMTP mailer option, try forcing the “from email address” under the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings page.

If you have configured the Gmail mailer option, check WP Mail SMTP -> Tools -> Debug Events section and see if you’re getting any errors.

Also, please make sure to check our guide here and that should help you to troubleshoot this issue further.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

    Thanks.

We are using the Gmail mailer.

We decided to check this with another form plugin (Contact Form 7) and it works with that one. So I am not sure what the issue is but somehow it seems to be related to the
    Forminator plugin.

We decided to go with the Contact Form 7 plugin.
