In the Forminator plugin, when transferring a form to another panel, I get an error that it cannot contain spaces or special characters. I cannot check this because the code block is very very long, can you help me how to solve it?
    Thank you very much

    Hello @emreayhan25 !

Sorry to hear you’ve experienced an issue while using Forminator!

I did a quick check and I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end. Can you confirm so we understand correctly – you’re exporting a form and you’re trying to import it on another site, is that correct?

Can you share an export of the form so we can take a look and check what may be going on? You can use a service such as https://pastebin.com to share the code – once done, please share a link here. Please don’t paste the export code here directly as it will likely get processed and we won’t be able to check it.

    Kind regards,

    Pawe?

I’m transferring my code here, it seems too long, I keep getting errors because of this block of code. I’m constantly having problems with the plugin.

    Hi @emreayhan25,

Hope this message finds you well and sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

After giving it a closer look and validating the JSON file, it seems some Description fields contain texts like this one:

Toepasbaar voor Project realisatiekosten >4550€
<4550€ direct op afdelingsexpense.

De aanvragende afdeling stelt een A3 op die wordt ingediend bij TechOps (RE) om als project te worden opgenomen in de
Local Capital List.

Bij het opstellen van de A3 kan technische expertise van buitenaf (b. leveranciersinput) nodig zijn. Deze input kan door TechOps (SME of Project Coördinator) geleverd worden.

It broke the JSON importation file, when I removed all those descriptions, I could import the form.

I did escalate this issue to our Forminator devs team. Once I get a reply from them we will get back to you, your patience on this is widely appreciated.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @emreayhan25

I understand that this is a pressing issue but we need our developers to come up with some kind of a patch for it. Otherwise we could only manually edit the file to simply remove all those problematic strings but that’s not really a solution as you would need to manually edit imported form after that and re-add them.

So we need some sort of a “software solution” for that and our developers are looking into it but I’d appreciate some patience as they are dealing with a lot of complex tasks on daily basis.

We’ll update you here as soon as we got feedback from them.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi @emreayhan25,

Our Developers provided the form and fixed the issues that were breaking the importation. Still, this has been reported as a bug and they will fix it in the future, but we can’t provide an ETA about when this will fix it yet.

You will find the form here:
    https://pastebin.pl/view/04f74b3c

You should be able to import it now.

Let us know if you require additional assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Laura
