• I was going to post this in the “Advanced” forum, but apparently only OPs can do that. So, hopefully it will be acceptable for me to post this here.

Is there any way to “force” a form field to (1) have to contain a value, and (2) contain a valid value?

For the NAME, EMAIL, and URL input fields on my form, I want to check to see if the fields contain valid data before accepting the submission. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanx.

¥es. However, this is a somewhat advanced web development issue, so you may not want to attempt form field validations yourself.
Try using a plugin, like cforms, for your WordPress forms. It has a simple user interface to manage your forms, including validations, requiring fields, etc.
