Using Beaver Builder and shortcode [mailpoet_manage_subscription], the form fields for First Name, Last Name are not editable. Should they be?

    Hi @gcgroup,

Using Beaver Builder and shortcode [mailpoet_manage_subscription], the form fields for First Name, Last Name are not editable.

If you’re logged in as a WordPress user, you won’t be able to edit these fields on the Manage Subscription page. You’ll only be able to edit your first and last name by editing your profile as a user. Is that the case?

That’s correct. Even though the First/Last name fields on the Manage Subscription page are input fields, they are not editable. A user can only update those fields using the default WP profile user page. Since there’s a statement on the Manage Subscription page that says “Edit your profile to update your email” that links to the default WP user page, and you have to use the same to update First/Last names, I solved it by using a find and replace plugin to update that statement to “Edit your profile to update your email and name”, then styled the First/Last name fields so they don’t look like input fields, which would confuse the user. Maybe that should be the default way to set up the form?
