Hi – first time user – only discovered you yesterday. Shame that. Best form plug-in I’ve ever worked with.

That said, I built a beautiful interactive form last night for a writing competition, where fields would only show depending on other input. It’s the first form I’ve built with Forminator, so I used a template. I learnt to update the value to match the field title, and it worked beautifully.

I made a copy of the form to build a new one (a Shop), but it would only duplicate the original template, so I started from scratch. No problem there. The Shop looks beautiful.

The problem is revisiting the site this morning, the original Competition Entry Form has reverted back to the original template (and I checked – the [forminator_form id=”2906″] is the same). Sobs. First world problems.

I know I could rebuild it, but it took a couple of hours and I’d love to work on something else. Is there a history or undo that I can’t find? Unfortunately it’s too soon for my daily backup to have saved the original version.

Help me Obi-Wan Forminator, you’re my only hope.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @darthambiguous,

I hope you are keeping well and thank you for reaching out to us.

Once the changes are saved/published, the forms created from templates shouldn’t revert back to the initial state. I was unable to find any similar issues reported at our end and couldn’t replicate the same at our end. Can you please let us know which template you used to build the form?

Can you please make updates to the form, save an export of it, and monitor it for a while? Let us know if it reverts back to its initial state.

I hope the following guide comes in handy: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

    Let us know the results.

    Best Regards,
    Nebu John
